Sodexo, a global leader in food services and facilities management, required a comprehensive communication strategy to support its in-unit promotions for two specific restaurant concepts: Kitchen Works and Modern Recipe. The objective was to design a range of flexible templates that could be easily updated and used across various initiatives, including seasonal offers, promotions, and general information displays. These templates needed to cater to both print and digital formats.
The main challenge was to develop adaptable, visually distinct templates that would effectively represent each restaurant concept. Kitchen Works and Modern Recipe each have unique brand identities and target audiences, so three distinct design styles were required for each brand. Kitchen Works operates primarily in manufacturing and data centre environments, while Modern Recipe targets more contemporary, wellness-focused dining spaces. Each template series had to resonate with the respective environments and be both functional and appealing.
To meet these objectives, we created two distinct tailored routes. For Kitchen Works, which serves manufacturing and data centre clients like Toyota, we designed clear, straightforward templates which emphasise functionality and ease of reading. For Modern Recipe, a contemporary wellness-focused space, with clients like AstraZeneca, we designed templates which promote a sense of wellbeing.
